Nokia E7 flash mob at City Mall

I personally liked the one performed by the Beirut Duty Free more. I salute the efforts made by the organizers for Nokia’s flash mob, but I would have preferred it to be more natural. It’s not like I’m an expert in making viral videos and stuff, but there’s really no need to perform sophisticated dances, keep it simple like the Dabke in the airport, and allow people to join instead of stressing on the security guards to keep them away of the dancers.

It was still a nice entertainment for City Mall visitors 🙂 and guess they needed the space coz of the number of dancers.. but I agree that the Beirut Duty Free one looks very spontaneous.

Some of these dancers are pretty bad, dancing like someone’s forcing them to.. Come on Nokia, you went through the trouble of hiring a dance company to get people’s attention, at least get people who can “shake it” better..

Their dancing is so not natural… i dont like it. (And I am someone who watches dancing flashmobs as a hobby… so meh)… i appreciate the effort. bass ktir 3ade el ra2es. manno synchronized, manno impressive. although the idea is cute, suits and stuff

They do not even have the right to call it a flashmob, a flashmob is by definition non-commercial. Also, it is very unoriginal to do a dance flashmob, after the hype of the airport one. #fail

Yeah, I agree with you. Enough with the “flash mobs” already. In fact, in my book, this doesn’t even count as a flash mob..It’s a choreographed dance!!

Whether the dancers were pro or not, whether the dance was natural or not, whether this was a dance mob or not, what i see as worthy of praise is FIRST: giving these young people the chance 2 perform in a public place, SECOND: adding some excitement in the mall 4 few minutes, THIRD: informing the people who aren’t tech obsessed to know about this new Nokia mobile phone. Cheer up people! 😉
