I wonder what will happen now to all these places that are mainly popular for their shisha, like Sanyour for example, when the law is put into effect.
But then again, this law might end up just like any other law that never gets implemented as it should, or probably gets implemented for a short period of time before the police starts to ignore violators. Let’s wait and see.
I understand from the last sentence that the smoking ban won’t be effective, because change starts from within! and if the parliament is not smoke-free how on planet earth would the rest of the country be!
more words on paper..
I don’t really have high hopes for this but you got to wish for the best.
Off topic: If someone were to hypothetically send you an e-mail, would you read it? If yes, would you reply? Hypothetically of course.

of course, I would read it and reply to it. And sorry for being so late on you! Check your inbox.
Well they are giving one year probation period for all touristic institution to get adopted to this new law. Till one year and if no war occurs or any dramatic incident in Lebanon, this will remain as is. after this one year we will see the owners of restaurant conducting press conferences explaining that this law will hit the touristic sector and will affect badly the economy and they will start finding a lot of Public Relation (bartil) for Lebanese responsible to forget about establishing this law!
Ana hayda Ra2yeh … inta choura2yak ?
I really hope that for everyone’s sake this law is implemented and observed! This is a must and is most definitely a step in the right direction for the progressive change Lebanon is in desperate need of!
hahaha
