My last valentine in Beirut

T-GROUP PRODUCTIONS presents ‘My last valentine in Beirut’, the first feature film to be produced in 3D in the Arab region ever, with one of the highest production costs and biggest production team.

The movie will have a world wide release with professionally crafted plans of marketing mixes and distribution.
The people behind the movie offer decades of experience in the movie business, and master exciting edgy storytelling and visual side effects.

This movie will bring a unique movie experience to the middle east and worldwide as it will bring together the touching history and cultural heritage of the region, together with the latest international technologies in the movie business.

So far the trailer is getting so much negative comments on Youtube, to which the video uploader replied with the following.

To all people who are adding their comments, thank you, we respect your honest opinions. Nevertheless, for those of you who are trying to drag the movie into z PORN category: judging a movie which you have never seen from its trailer which is only for few minutes makes your comments irrelevant and unaccountable for, and doesn’t reflect what z movie is about but only what you think in general about Arab girls. I think you might want to look at the big picture.

To me, the trailer looked really cheap, and producers seem to be overusing sex to sell their movie, it’s even like they’re begging to have it banned like “Help”!

Anyway, regardless of the movie’s topic, why did it have to be shot in 3D?! Did they want Juliette’s figures to be as real as possible when people watch it?

Their statement about them being professional and experienced indicates they are not.

‘[…] the touching history and cultural heritage of the region, together with the latest international technologies in the movie business.’
Seriously? The sentence speaks for itself.

From the trailer, it seems more like the movie is simply made to be controversial without a clear plot. Either way, I’ll watch this, I need a good laugh.

CHEAP and tell the producer about his comment that it’s not fair to judge the movie by its trailer: “L maktbou byen2ara mn 3enweno”!

Just a way to attract, but i think the last part (2ismi mish mhimm w 2ana bishtighil …) was not needed and it is really too much.
    Simply the Lebanese way…

This shows the need for the Lebanese to always include naked and sex/drug abuse scenes in their movies or trailers in order to attract audiences. They think that by including such scenes that are supposed to be “forbidden” in the Lebanese society, they are doing something big. Get over yourselves. All this shows is how much the Lebanese are frustrated and obsessed with things like that; also, it shows that the movie probably sucks and has no good plot. Showing sex scenes is the easiest way to attract more audience. And 3D for such a movie? Why? That, along with the naked scenes, only indicates they’re after the money.

The last sentence literally made me laugh out loud: “Esme mesh mhemmm… w ana beshteghel sharmouta” WTF?

When I think of all the outrage Richard Quest piece on CNN created. Oh well I gues after seeing this clip I can safely say Mr Quest was right in showing Lebanon as a party destination since we are portraying it as nothing but a cheap brothel.
    Tfeh !

I dont get it… it’s a movie!! the story can be abt anything, there isnt any “need” to include sex and nudity in lebanese movies, the problem is that when u see a 2 minutes sex scene in a 90 mn movie, that 2 mn scene will define the story of the movie to you!!
