Reading all these articles in the Lebanese media slamming Saad Hariri for replying by mistake to a “good morning” tweet by the Israeli ministry of defense spokesperson Avichay Adraee was quite normal. It just proved that some Lebanese journalists have really nothing to do sometimes other than “philosophizing” a two words tweet!
But has anyone found it weird how it’s very acceptable in Israel for a high ranking official to initiate a conversation with a Lebanese person? Don’t they consider us their enemies? I just tried searching for an article in Israel criticizing Avichay Adraee for his tweet to Saad Hariri and failed to find any!
Even if you check his twitter account now, you’ll see that Adraee went on and simply apologized to Saad Hariri for disturbing him!
Oh and did you notice how whoever took the screenshot above, supposedly to criticize Hariri for that tweet, is following Avichay Adraee? Hypocricy much?
You missed the comment of the guy asking him what he thinks of Haifa Wehbe’s boobs 🙂

Maybe in your lame attempt to make it sound “cool”, you missed the fact that Israel is a country build on the misery of Palestinians who till today are still waiting for their right to come back to their lands… maybe you missed the fact that this Cool highly ranked israeli was working on destroying your beloved country on several occasions and there is no need to google anything to know that he is really an enemy… you just look at their dark record and from the hundred of thousands of Lebanese victims you will understand that wishing a good morning to a murderer is not that cool at all!
Lame!
you don’t need to follow Avichay to get the condo with hariri 😉 #twitter101

@Charles
hahah if he showed interest in Hariri, then I bet he follows Haifa closely!
@josef
Dude, you SERIOUSLY misunderstood this post. I never mentioned it’s cool to salute an enemy, I just said Hariri might have really replied by mistake to that tweet, and there’s no need to make a big deal out of it. The other part of the post was mainly to highlight the difference between Lebanon and Israel in the way “interacting with the enemy” is interpreted.
@alex
And where did I mention that you need to be following Adraee to get the convo with Hariri? Check the screenshot again, it clearly shows that the user is following Adraee, there’s an “Unfollow” button next to his handle.
I find it uanifr that after all what the Lebanese had put up with in defence of the palastinian cause they are still accused of racism. Here is where bragging comes into play O’ we,the Lebanese,help them so much.O’ look how much we do for the Palestinians.O’ look at what we put up with.The truth is much different and until the Lebanese open their eyes and clear the air of such idiocy then we will be on the same level as the captors of the Middle East (The Imperial West and Israel).Read into Nayla Tueni’s political theories my dear and who she sides with; If you do not see the inherent xenophobia in her positions then you are denying reality.So many of you want to bring up the mistakes of the Palestinians living under occupation while refusing to bring up the rapists and murderous Lebanese who helped Israel in persecuting the Palestinians.Without naming the parties, the groups, the individuals you all know who and what I am talking about. Stop playing mind games, assuming that we will forget who helped the invaders assuming we will also forgive the Lebanese who massacred so many of their own in lieu of imperial invasion.The Palestinians are being choked by the Arabs and the Israeli’s. You all speak of them as if they are charity cases. Ya3ne smallah, you all talk like you are doing them some grand favor just by allowing them to live amongst us.The Palestinians should be grateful to be living in disgusting environments, they should be happy that we do not give them the same rights we give each other, they should kiss our feet because we let me eat the political 5ara so-called-leaders dish out. Mish hek?The Lebanese don’t want to take responsibility for anything. Part of the problems we have include how we treat our brothers and sisters in Palestine. This xenophobia has created more problems.Who is Nayla ya Farah? Why is she not extending her harsh and asinine rhetoric to Israel?She is just a mouthpiece for Ja3Ja3 and Feltman. This article is part of the 500M paid to disrupt unity in the Arab world if you don’t know what I’m talking about then by all means, read into the political games being played.Bes yallah, I just want to commend everyone Lebanese or otherwise who unequivocally support our brothers and sisters in Palestine.Allah y2awi el muqawam’e.
God bless you all.. each has an opinion, but we all still agree that Israel is an enemy and we refuse to recognize the Zionist regime’s right to exist on the land of the Palestinians. This moment I know that our country is still very much okay to a degree.
As for Hariri I doubt it’s a mistake but if it is the problem is worse that means he’s a total ignorant and irresponsible “leader”. When you’re a PM or any politician with many followers you should be at least aware of whom you’re saluting. Well it’s Saad Hariri he wasn’t in Lebanon in its worst crisis even in 2006 war he was outside so it’s just the Hariri logic..
Adios all!
