Well, then it’s time for Pierre and Friends, one of the most unassuming beach bars in the world. It’s not flashy and it doesn’t rock with the latest tunes, nor do the beautiful and good gather here. But Pierre and Friends occupies a darling little strip of pebbly beach between Byblos and Batroun (closer to Batroun than Byblos). There’s no pretension here, so grab your favorite tipple and settle down to enjoy the company and the endless views of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

I was not used to go there before, but this winter and summer i went there so many times. But 2 things made me stop going there:
– first, i recently noticed that the Argile cost 20,000 LBP which is the most expensive argile I’ve seen in Lebanon (it’s not that good anyway and they don’t serve it well)
– second, last time, i wanted a Sandwish but the waiter insisted that they do not serve Sandwish (only plates and he won’t make me a sandwish even if i paid the cost of a plate), few minutes later i saw a huge sandwish so we asked about it and it was a tawouk for one of the staff, so i ordered the same, and they told me that they can not give me a Sandwish cause the table next to us just ordered a sandwish and they told them that they do not serve sandwishes!!!
so it was like it’s ok for me to see a sandwish but not eat one but not ok for the table next to us to see one and not order one!!!!!
