I started seeing some ads of it around Beirut today and found the above TVC on YouTube.
I have no idea about Via’s price yet, but I don’t expect it to exceed that of Sohat, 2750L.L for 1L and 1750L.L for 330ml, which I believe is reasonable for those who prefer to get glass bottles on special occasions while European alternatives are more than double that price.
And what happens to the bottle ounce it is empty? They should work on a system to recycle these bottles, like putting machines in big supermarkets where you can resell your empty glass and plastic bottles and these bottles will be processed an reused. Because as i have noticed all Lebanese drink bottled water because the tap water isn’t clean enough. So there is a lot material going to waist everyday. And by doing a system where you can get money back everyone will do it and if they won’t people would be collecting the bottles from garbage cans to resell them and make a profit ( and i find it great). I hope that Sohat, Tannourin, and all the other water companies use this system to compete with each other instead of competing over whos bottle is more elegant and pricier.
great idea carl.
