At beginning, I did’nt understand, the addition of the word LONA in the sign

of the town’s name. Until, I red about football game. Means, the football

soccer team from Barcelona, Spain. So, the name Barja, it should be

pronounced “barza” (in spanish sound). I realize that you are already

contagious of “soccer fever” like here in Mexico.

I´m descended from a person from “Barjalona” his name was “Galup Mudeci”

I think that he modified his last name, I´m sure that begins with “m” and end

with “si”. The problem is find, the middle sound. Someone told me, it shoud

be “meegsi” (pronounced in spanish). My grandfather came to Mexico with

    a “Malacon” family during 1910.

Do you know, ¿how I could contact “Megsi” family in Barja?
