I know Almaza is actually owned by Heineken, but it is still uncool.
Check here to see how other brands took a jab at Apple for the iPhone 6 Plus bendgate.

This is the newest music video by Maya Diab and the one below it is 1+1’s video by Beyonce. Can you notice the similarities?
Earlier in October Haifa Wehbe’s new movie teaser also turned out to be a copy of Monica Belluci’s Malena trailer and a Martini Gold ad.
So Boom Boom will now be best known for their crappy ads. Following “Boom Boom Stylak” ad they made a while ago, they’re now copying an energy bar ad.
I’d love to read Brofessional Review‘s take on this. Check the below video made more than a year ago by Nokia Lebanon along with the other ones found here, and compare them to Rymco’s suggest an arrest.
The Lebanese “Classic Burger Joint” now has a copycat in Jeddah called “Classic Burger” with a similar logo and very focused menu as well. The major difference however is that the Saudi restaurants apparently makes giant burgers like the one below!
You can find out more about the Saudi Classic burger on their Facebook page.

Remember the latest ad I posted for Almaza? Many people accused that ad of being inspired by Lebanese Brew’s campaign “Try something brave” which is actually true since the two look pretty similar. And so, Lebanese Brew came up with this epic reply to Almaza!

I was quite surprised to see the below video shared by @HalaMoubarak today for an ad made by Absolut Vodka back in 2007 and looking very similar to the ads currently running for touch’s new campaign “In My New World“.
To me, In My New World was basically among the two most interesting campaigns this year along with Lebanese Brew’s Try Something Brave, now let’s hope the latter doesn’t turn out to be yet another inspired campaign as well!
After all the talk doubting the credibility of the organization behind the New 7 Wonders campaign, here comes Tarek to show us that Vote for Jeita ad is nothing but a copycat! Way to go ImpactBBDO!
Update:
Under the video description on YouTube, ImpactBBDO indicated the format is inspired by “5 friends”.
Although the concept is based on a pure Lebanese insight, the format was inspired by “5 friends” renown film produced in 2008 by Steven Spielberg.”
