Marrouche is back!

Chicken sandwich lovers rejoice! I just learned today that Marrouche has reopened again but is now located in Manara near the International College instead of Sidani street in Hamra.

The best thing about this reopening is that they retained the same staff. The man on the right is actually the one who used to make the sandwiches in Hamra for as long as I can remember. And knowing that they have been operating since the 1920s, I really doubt they will be compromising the ingredients quality now, so I think we’ll be having the same awesome chicken garlic sandwiches just as before. But I’m not sure though if the sandwich price has increased or is still the same (7,000 L.L).

Roadster Diner Opening Soon in Zaitunay Bay

I just stumbled upon this photo by Roadster diner on Facebook announcing that they’re opening soon in Zaitunay Bay.

With Classic Burger Joint and some coffee shops already operating there, I believe it’s pretty good to see Roadster opening as well which helps making Zaitunay Bay more accessible to average people, especially that it was labeled as a spot for the rich people when it was first launched.

As per Beirutista, P.F. Chang’s is also coming to Zaitunay Bay.

Shake Shack opening in ABC Achrafieh

I was at ABC Achrafieh yesterday and noticed Shake Shack will be opening there instead of Bob’s Easy Diner.

As you all know, Shake Shack is also set to open at Beirut City Centre and I heard it’ll be soon during this month, but I hope someone from Al-Shaya can let us know about the exact opening dates for both locations.

New cinema opening soon in Bliss street

Looks like Hamra is soon getting a new cinema, “Prime on Bliss”, facing AUB in Bliss street. The website and Facebook page have no further details such as the numbers of screens that will be available, except that they’re opening this month.

So Beirut City Centre is finally opening today and I was just able to get hold of the list of all brands that will be available at the mall. Almost half of the shops will be operating as of the opening, and the rest will gradually open over the next two months including VOX Cinemas. You can click on the below two tables for more details.

I’m sorry I had to remove the lists as per City Centre’s request since they’re not official. I’ll be posting an official list as soon as it comes out.

Shake Shack is coming to Lebanon!

I just learned Al-Shayaa is soon bringing Shack Shack to Lebanon! In case you’re not familiar with it, Shake Shack is a pretty famous burger joint in New York and several other cities in the states, and has expanded to the Middle East over the last couple of years with restaurants opening in Dubai and Kuwait.

From what I read online by people who have tried the burgers at Shake Shack, it seems like they taste really good! So I really can’t wait for them to open here.

Now of course the question is where will Shake Shack be located and when is the opening taking place?

Fuddruckers Lebanon opening on August 26th

If you’re like me waiting for Fuddruckers to finally open its doors in Dbayeh, then the wait is almost over. I just saw their latest announcements on facebook claiming the grand opening is going to take place on August 26th!

Too bad for me it’s going to be Ramadan and I usually avoid heavy meals on Iftar, so I won’t be trying it out until Eid comes.
